Behind The Lens

Amy Lei has been creating art through the lenses of her camera for nearly a decade. Her passion for photography and travel began at an early age when she visited Europe and Asia with her father on business trips. She has continued to travel to destinations such as Puerto Rico, Africa, Argentina, Mexico, and various states within the US including Colorado, Hawaii, and California.

Amy's love for the ocean began at a young age in Florida where she first learned to surf and later developed on Oahu's North Shore. Professional photography requires the best cameras, lenses, and equipment, but the most important element is the composition. This is where Amy's artistic and visionary talent comes in. Amy has studied fine art since very childhood. Her art commissions range from a 60 foot seawall mural to creative oil paintings of her photographs.

Though she has a comprehensive background in art, she is most expressive through the lenses of her cameras. Be it the vastness of a landscape or the serenity of an ocean wave, Amy Lei captures it with the ability to inspire your soul.
