Take a Moment... Sign a Petition

My heart goes out to the Hawaiians who are trying to save their beaches, surf spots, and culture on the North Shore. If you get a moment, sign their petition to stop the construction of up to 5 hotels in the Turtle Bay area by clicking HERE. I suppose every little bit helps. It is sad to me that there are still people who choose to remain ignorant to the truth; our resources on this earth are limited. Nearly all the beaches here in Florida are developed or over-developed, and with it comes consequences. The Florida Keys and Everglades (just one example), once full of living coral and clean water, are now part of the world's largest eco-restoration project. Florida beaches don't even compare to the beauty of Hawaiian beaches, and it would be such a loss to this planet for them to become developed and polluted. Sad!
